Fruits Basket is a really good and really funny manga. If you haven't read it, you should.  But if you have, then you can discuss it here.

Is the glass half empty or half full? I can see the half filled with water. I can't see the empty half.
Therefore, the pesimest looks at the sorrow of the past, that can not be seen or changed. While the optimist takes what is now and open, and makes the best out of it. And in turn, creates a better future.
