Im guessing I can post a bit about this book for others to see..
It's about a mom called Marigold and her two daughters Star (13) and Dolphin (10-11) They both have different fathers they never met and Marigold is still in love with stars father, she has a tattoo of him (his name is micky). That's why it's called the 'Illustrated' Mum because she has alot of tattoos. The story is written from Dolphin's point of veiw and we know about how she feels about everything, not having a father, having no friends, having a drunk mother who gets home late...
